Last night, as we were finishing dinner my eye caught a bunch of bright relections on the leaves outside the front window. It was as if it had just rained and everything was glistening. Only, it hadn’t rained – couldn’t have rained.
Joyce and I were drawn outside to see what was up. There, holding firmly to a branch, we found this one:

This picture is not bad – you don’t see the transparency of her wings. She amazed us. And, she was absolutely patient with me as I grabbed the camera, snapped away, and even set off the flash. She just held her pose.
What a gift to be drawn outside at just the right moment, to just the right spot to witness this beautiful creature! Thank you Nature!
